Fusion of thoughts

This entry was written in the span of 3 days..just feeling pretty slow to write anything. Here it is!

So 1st year of uni has come and gone.
I wish I could go back being a fresher again, where I see people with that sparkle of keennest in their eyes, I did try to contain my excitement..didn't wanna scare people off you know :/
I was totally fired up for this, with a little bit of fear tagging not very far behind. The seed of fear in which my elder sister planted in me the moment she said 'Sometimes, you will feel lonely at uni'. And I was afraid because there IS a possibility of that happening, and that was the last thing I wanted to feel. Fortunately I was nothing near isolation :)
I remember the first couple of months I was trying to remember people's names more than remembering what I've learnt in lectures (okay so slighttt exaggeration there) Which reminds me of what Delirium said in Neil Gaiman's Sandman comic:

'Is there a word for forgetting the name of someone when you want to introduce them to someone else at the same time you realize you've forgotten the name of the person you're introducing them to as well?''

Thankfully that didn't happen to me haha. I would just find the situation strangely amusing if it were to happen to me.

There seemed to be a gazillion things happening all the time in uni - gigs, talks, concerts, bar crawls etc etc I must say I was in a feeding frenzy, joined some clubs and societies to encourage myself to get involved with the pool of people. However in the end out of 3 societies I've joined, I was only active in one, sadly.

I've been flipping through some photographs on the National Geographic website to be more inspired and hoping to learn some new techniques and some ideas on how to convey your message through a photograph. I've just cycled to Bath today which took me an hour and a half and man it was tiring (I have not exercised for an entire year since I started uni!). And I was focusing on taking pictures of people today. Here's one of my fave shot that I took of today.

Taken from my handphone since I lost my camera last week :( but that didn't stop me from taking pictures!! This picture shows tourists listening to an audio guide on the Roman Baths.

and here' s a pigeon who just 'attacked' one of the tourists..it kinda looked like as if it's saying : You're NEXT!

I'm moving out at the end of the week. I hardly packed anything. I just wish my bags had whirlpools in them so it would fill itself with whatever junk I have.
Hmm Delirium might have taken a toll on me.
