Done packing.

Now i just have to go through the processes in the airport x.x

Haven't had a wordy blog for quite awhile. Here goes.

Why do we think ahead?

Choosing what unversities what courses etc can be quite stressful.

Today everybody in the 6th form had to attend a workshop just for the UCAS application which took 5.5hours for 4 workshops in school.

1st workshop was about interview skills. The careers adviser of the school was basically whisking through the important points on how to leave a good impression on the interviewer etc.

2nd workshop was run by my deputy house mistress. She was talking about how to choose the right course for you AND the right uni as well.
We went through a list of courses which started with 'G' and apparently there was a study on Golf. Not only that, there was a course on 'Green'.
Yes its called just that. So what is 'green'? It is the study of the environment *basically grass in the golf course lol* that's what we're told.

We were applying to UCAS in the next workshop with the guidance of our Senior Tutor. Its quite a simple process and i somehow got excited by filling in the forms *dont ask why*

The final workshop was about personal statements.

The first time when i came to this school my upper sixth were panicking about their personal statements and that kinda scared me. After the interesting powerpoint presentation, i somehow felt more confident and somewhat excited (?) about the whole thing about unis and personal statements.

So. My homework during the summer holidays (yes when im back at home!) :

1. Do a some reading about the course im going to apply to

2. Choose 5 unis that i would like to go to

3. Do research on those 5 unis

4. Start on my personal statement

5. Practice shaking hands for my interview (it is necessary)

6. Work experience (in the business i guess)

Its gonna be one busy holiday for me =)

My exams are finally over!!

But what else is chasing me?

1. I have to create my CV by this friday
2. Have to do some major packing
3. Do some university research
4. Decide between 2 courses that i wanna take in uni
5. Do some research for mock interviews next wednesday *a pretend interview to 'be' an advertising executive
6. Gift hunting for 2 more ppl when i spent most of my money on food

10 more days :)

short update ~ :)

2 things that i discovered i could do :

1. I can finally do a cutwheel

2. I can juggle (needs more practice)

Yeahh both of them in 3 weeks ahaha xP

Anyway a short update ere..

My exams are still going on..studying chem like mad..should be doing the same thing for core maths 3 as it is on the same day as chem but im working more on chem somehow..

Gonna be back home in less than a month now ^^
already planning on what to do with my buddies once im back *hopefully jetlag wont be a problem*
Come to think of it..i dont think i would be allowed to drive the first week IF i had jetlag..just in case i feel drowsy or whatever on the road.

Here's a short list of stuff i wanna do during the summer hols :

1. Learn to play some new piano pieces from my mum
2. Learn how to paint from my dad
3. Eat home made meals by my mum AND dad haha
4. Quality *crazy* time with ruyee
5. Hanging out like mad which includes
- movies
- pool
- bowling
- karaoke
- picnic at sri KDU? suggested by alvin the foo (i really think this would be fun xD)

6. Go back to sri kdu to visit teachers and friends
7. Go to Pangkor to get myself tanned (bloody white now =..-)
8. Go to china for some shopping
9. Oh and not forgetting to cut my long hair SHORT!!!
10.Play tennis with my coach =)

I think that's about it..i just wonder where's everybody and whatre they up to..
