A pair of orange eyes were piercing through the darkness at the corner of my room beneath my desk. It's okay - I reassured myself. One eye powers the fan and the other, my table lamp. Lately it's easy to have a nightmare, waking up in a frenzy, feeling utterly vulnerable only to realise a good few seconds later that it isn't real. This is where reasoning comes in and saves me.

Maybe I really shouldn't move anymore and think of nothing.
-but I couldn't help but to have a stream of thought, which eventually lead me to my vast shimmering ocean of dreams :)
